IDO Methodology

The IDO methodology is PingPrime's proprietary framework for building and steering a brand's visibility in generative AI engines. IDO stands for Identify, Do, Optimize — three complementary phases that cover the entire GEO cycle.

The three phases of the IDO methodology

1. Identify — Understand before acting

Before any optimization, PingPrime analyzes how AIs already talk about your brand and your sector. This phase includes a complete AI visibility audit: generated responses, cited sources, narrative framing, narrative battles to win, and identification of who is being cited in your place.

2. Do — Build what AI can cite

The Do phase transforms strategy into concrete assets: pillar pages in Answer-First format, structured FAQs, case studies with metrics, optimized schema markup, and activation of AI Reputation via Digital PR, customer reviews and community contributions.

3. Optimize — Measure, adjust, amplify

Narrative authority isn't built in a month. The Optimize phase ensures continuous monitoring of AI citations, tracking of Share of Model, correction of framing gaps and amplification of detected opportunities.
